Graduation at EC3
Erie County Community College’s commencement is a special event for students, their families, and guests. We ask that you show respect for everyone who has come to share in the experience.
To allow all attendees the opportunity to clearly view the ceremony, banners, flags, signs or balloons of any shape or size are not permitted inside the building.
All attendees will be required to go through security screening prior to entering the building.

Commencement Ceremony
Date: Saturday, June 1, 2024
Time: Starting at 10:00 AM – graduates should arrive at 8:30 AM. No later than 9:00 AM.
Location: Erie County Community College Erie West, 2403 W 8th Street, Erie, PA
Due to an increase in the number of graduates and limited seating availability, EC3’s 2024 Commencement Ceremony will be a ticketed event. Graduates who have signed up to participate in the Commencement Ceremony are not required to have a ticket and will be provided with up to four (4) tickets for guests. Graduates may pick up their graduation invitations along with their tickets during normal business hours at the EC3 Erie West location beginning Monday, May 20.
A limited number of extra tickets may be available on a first request basis. Graduates may request additional tickets using this form (https://forms.office.com/r/LFdHCV3rLX). All extra tickets, if available, will be distributed at the Graduate Luncheon on May 31.
Although tickets will not be mailed, there will be a Will Call window in the foyer where tickets can be picked up the day of the ceremony.
For guests without tickets, this year’s ceremony will be live-streamed. The live stream link will also be made available on the College’s website at ec3pa.org on the day of the ceremony if you’d like to watch from home.
Auditorium doors will open to ticketed guests 45 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. We strongly suggest guests arrive early as the auditorium will mainly be open seating.

During this time, we’ll be walking through the ceremony, making sure we have your information correct, you’ve picked up your cap and gown, and celebrating your accomplishments!
